"Wind Water & Flags: Creating flow effects with Flash".

Presenter: Tim Adlide

Tim who will demonstrate the creation of "flow" effects for simulating wind, water and/or cloth waves using Flash. This is an advanced class for the adult audience already familiar with Flash.

Tim Adlide is one of Australia's most accomplished Animator/Directors. His work in Children's TV is seen regularly around the world. After ten years in the various graphic studios and cartoon production houses in Sydney Tim moved to the North Coast of NSW and in 1994 directed and designed the first STOP MOTION series produced in Australia for over 20 years, ‘Lizzie's Library’. He went on to make another series ‘Kitu and Woofl’ both produced by Henderson Bowman for ABC children's television. Both the above series screen frequently in over 35 countries. In 2000-2001 Tim was Animation Director for "Hoota and Snoz", both series 1 and 2. This is Australia's first CGI animation series produced by Blue Rocket for RMTV Germany, screening in Australia on ABC TV. Tim has written, produced and directed several award winning short films. He has also animated on many other TV commercials, video clips and shorts. His own productions include ‘A Sense of Porpoise’ Stop Motion surf film.‘AiR’ and ‘Whingin' Bastard’ Stop Motion for adults, both commissioned by SBSi. All produced in the area around Byron Bay Australia. Tim is also a painter and a musician and father or two children.
