presented by
Malcolm Turner
Executive Director: Melbourne International Animation Festival
Co Director: London International Animation Festival
Animation Programmer: New Zealand Film Festival
Co Director: Australian International Animation Festival

In addition to his roles programming these festivals, Turner visits half a dozen major festivals each year, curates programs and sits on juries for others and has an extensive international network of contacts in studios, archives, schools and throughout the international indie animation community. From this unique vantage point, Turner can discuss what is happening in the international animation scene - its debates, trends, shifting styles, rapidly changing creative and distribution technologies and where this very special and specific cinematic artform fits into the current culture of big screen cinema.
